Perfume: The Exquisite Piano Music of France.
ABC Classics 461 798-2

This disc of French piano music of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is lovingly dedicated to Gordon Watson, who was my teacher, himself a pupil of Egon Petri, a wonderful pianist and a great Francophile. He played many of the works of the disc, his favourite of which was the Idylle by Chabrier which often featured as an encore in his concerts.
